About GraveRoot Press
GraveRoot Press is more than a traditional publisher—we are a creative and philosophical partnership dedicated to nurturing the mind, spirit, and imagination. Unlike conventional presses that often prioritize commercial trends or strictly linear storytelling, we focus on works that inspire deep reflection, spiritual insight, and transformative creativity.
Our diverse catalog spans literary colouring books that invite self-expression through words, innovative solo and tabletop storytelling games that explore human experience through chance and choice, and guided journals that serve as tools for personal growth and philosophical inquiry. Every title is crafted with a mindful blend of narrative, play, and introspection, encouraging readers not just to consume stories but to participate in creating meaning.
At GraveRoot Press, editorial rigor meets holistic sensibility. We combine careful, legally sound editorial standards with a profound respect for mental health, ethical storytelling, and the subtle power of spiritual and philosophical exploration. This balanced approach ensures our publications resonate on intellectual, emotional, and soul levels.
In a publishing landscape often driven by market formulas, we choose to cultivate works that invite curiosity, encourage self-discovery, and honor the complexity of human experience. GraveRoot Press is a sanctuary for thoughtful creators and readers seeking more than just a story—seeking connection, insight, and transformation.
Creative Ethics Statement
In the interest of open and honest transparency, we have prepared the following statement regarding our creative process.
At GraveRoot Press, every book, game and post starts with a human imagination. The writing, design, and creative direction are entirely our own — built word by word, idea by idea.
We, however, do currently use AI tools to generate some imagery. These tools allow to us produce the kind of books and games that would otherwise be impossible on an independent budget. They don’t replace creativity; they extend it. Every project still comes from human vision, human hands, and human effort.
In an ideal world, we would use local artists to produce all of the imagery used and when appropriate, publicly available, human-made art fits a project, we will use it respectfully and with credit. In the future, when our resources grow, we fully intend to commission human artists to bring future projects to life and reinvent past publications.
For now, this is the reality of small, independent publishing. We either create with the tools and resources available, or we sacrifice our vision and produce sub-standard products.
